March Madness 2021: Odds and Predictions for the NCAA Tournament Final Four

March Madness 2021: Odds and Predictions for the NCAA Tournament Final Four

March Madness is one of the most anticipated and most entertaining events on the basketball calendar. This event occurs from mid-March to early April. Talks about bubble teams, buzzer-beater, bracket challenges dominate sports news and conversations all over the world. March Madness was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, so March Madness is finally back this year.

No one can tell what's exactly going to happen with March Madness’s unpredictability. This year, the 68-team field for the men's basketball tournament NCAA will be set on March 14, so right now, it is not definite which teams will have a greater chance to make it to the national championship.

While we are still waiting for the seeds and brackets for the NCAA Tournament 2021, we can already tell you the odds provided by Fanduel and which teams are likely to fight for a spot for the championship.  So, below are our top March Madness predictions for winning bets:

Gonzaga eyed for the 2021 NCAA Tournament Champion at +275

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are reportedly behind Baylor as the odds favorite for the NCAA Tournament title, and we are expecting them to do better, shine and win the championship. For them to win the championship is one of the sports fans’ top March Madness predictions for a lot of reasons.

One top reason is that Gonzaga is leading the season for the 24 games they have won so far in the West Coast Conference. The game was led by the two top prospects, Drew Timme and Corey Kispert. The Bulldogs seemed eager to earn a spot in the Final Four this season. Anything is possible.

Bears to Make it to NCAA Tournament Final Four at -300

A few days ago, Baylor Bear lost their first game of the season against Kansas. The loss turned out to be a huge surprise to the number of seeds during the 12 Conference with the fact that the Bears had encountered struggles with the COVID protocols at the time.

Michigan to Become the NCAA Tournament Champion at -140

Michigan shows a great basketball team, and this year they have shown us that they can do more. The Wolverines are sitting at the top of the moment with 18-2 this season, and they are having a great moment despite not having enough players for the Player of the Year award.

Betting on Michigan to make the Final Four at March Madness is one of the favorite March Madness predictions because of its good odds that sports fans find worthy of betting.

Understanding March Madness futures odds

Sportsbooks here and there will post odds for the upcoming NCAA men's basketball as soon as the season starts. Through the offseason, these odds keep changing as players get involved in an injury, suspended, or traded. In November, when the season begins, the title odds will have to change from time to time as teams lose and win games or due to suspension or player injury. March Madness's future odds will also be adjusted by sportsbook based on certain teams' liability and handling.

Final Four predictions for the NCAA Tournament

Illinois

Illinois has one of the best players in college basketball who plays the lead, Ayo Dosunmu. Brad Underwood in Kofi Cockburn, Trent Frazier, and Adam Miller. Plus, Giorgi Bezhanishvili. Their performance will be closed to 60 points per game alone.

Villanova

The Wildcats are leading except Saddiq Bey from a team that had already won seven out of eight final games. They were able to finish the Big East regular-season title with Creighton and Seton Hall. To keep the Wildcats at the lead of the Big East, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Collin Gillespie, and other All-America candidates can win enough in their quality playoffs.

Virginia

Last season, Virginia had the number 1 defense, and there is no doubt that it won't continue. From the last season, Tony Bennett paves his way for the senior sharpshooter Sam Hauser after being transferred from Marquette. He is expected to be the newcomer of the year.  So far, this is the best defense, best team, and best starting five.

Kentucky

Placing a bet for the Final Four is one of the most anticipated as always. Kentucky may be a great team and, maybe in more than most years, will be more reliant on a freshman. A talented John Calipari handles the radar now, so the strength on this young aspiring team will be as intense as ever.

Takeaway

It may be too early to start looking ahead. However, forthcoming conference tournaments give such great help to shape the March Madness saga, and it's becoming clear that some teams can make it to the Big Dance. As early as now, it's good to examine who we like and specifically the team we're all-in to make it to 2021 Final Four and to bag the championship this year.
