In addition, the Doxa Drama - Apollon Pontou game was scheduled to take place on Sunday, but the latter didn’t compete amid crippling financial issues. Doxa will be awarded the three points.

Apollon Pontou have vowed to show up against Apollon Smyrnis next week.

APOLLON SMYRNIS 0-0 FC CHANIA

Hosting Chania in Rizoupoli, Apollon Smyrnis missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on Super League 2 leaders PAS Giannina, as the Athens-based club were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw.

With eight minutes remaining at the Georgios Kamaras Stadium, Ioannis Sotirakos was sent off for Chania, but the visitors held on despite late Apollon Smyrnis pressure.

Apollon Smyrnis currently trail PAS by six points but, tomorrow, the Ioannina organisation will have the chance to extend that lead when playing against Levadiakos at home.

Chania are eighth. Next week, Apollon Smyrnis are scheduled to play against Apollon Pontou on the road, while Chania host Cretan rivals Platanias.

APOLLON LARISSA 2-0 AE KARAISKAKIS

Apollon Larissa are now only one point behind Apollon Smyrnis. Competing against AE Karaiskakis at home, the Larissa side were good enough to earn an important 2-0 triumph, as both Michalis Bastakos and Panathinaikos loanee Mark Sifneos hit the target.

Karaiskakis are fifth, trailing Apollon Larissa by two points.

On matchday 14, Apollon Larissa will host Doxa Drama, while Karaiskakis compete against Panachaiki at home.

PANACHAIKI 4-0 AOK KERKYRA

It always promised to be a comfortable afternoon for Panachaiki against AOK Kerkyra, and so it proved as markers from Nestoras Mytidis, Savvas Siatravanis (2) and Panagiotis Moraitis secured a routine 4-0 victory.

Kerkyra, plagued by ongoing financial problems, are languishing at wrong end of the table with -3 points. They have lost all 13 games so far, only scoring three goals along the way.

Panachaiki sit in seventh position. In their next match, Panachaiki will play against Karaiskakis on the road, while Kerkyra will look to end their barren streak when competing with Levadiakos at home.
