Barrales becomes leading Asteras league scorer in history
By hitting the target in the 4-1 Super League triumph over Lamia on Monday, Jeronimo Barrales has become the leading Asteras Tripolis league scorer in history.

Barrales, 32, has etched his name into the Asteras history books again. This summer, the Argentine forward transferred to Asteras from Lamia, and he has subsequently scored in two home matches against AEK and Lamia in the Super League. Barrales previously played for Asteras between 2013 and 2015.
Overall, Barrales has scored 27 goals for Asteras in the Super League so far since joining the club for the first time in 2013, making him the leading league scorer in the club’s history. Danijel Cesarec and Michalis Manias held the previous record with 26 Asteras goals each.
Incidentally, he was already the leading scorer for Asteras across all competitions with 31 goals to his name. Cesarec is in second place of the ranking with 29 markers to his name.
