On Monday, Chania FC released their new logo ahead of the upcoming season. The Cretan side, known as AOX Kissamikos last season, announced midway through last season that the club will undergo a name change to Chania FC taking effect in the 2019/20 campaign. The new name comes with hope of creating a side that will unite the whole city of Chania.
In an official announcement on Wednesday, stating "Chania FC is coming," the club released their new logo which looks similar to the one used by AOX Kissamikos last season.
Chania FC will compete in the new Super League 2 and the club held their first training session for the new season on Wednesday.
