The Greek Super League regular season concludes on Sunday with matchday 26. All seven fixtures will take place on Sunday with kick-off set for 19:00 local time.

For the first time in the Greek top flight, the Super League champion will be decided in the postseason Playoffs while relegation will be determined in the postseason Playouts. The Playoffs will include the top-six teams from the regular season, and these six teams will play the other clubs in home and away fixtures, totaling ten matches per team.

The Playouts will include the remaining eight teams in the Super League, and each team will play the others once, totaling seven games per team. All points from the regular season will carry over to the postseason Playoffs and Playouts. For more details on the Playoff and Playout format, visit here

Five teams have already secured their place in the Playoffs, including Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK, Panathinaikos, and Aris. One spot remains with sixth-placed OFI in pole position to clinch their place in the Playoffs. However, Asteras Tripolis, Atromitos, and Xanthi are all mathematically alive in the hunt for the last Playoff spot.

Super League Standings 6th-9th place

6. OFI 31 points

7. Asteras Tripolis 30 points

8. Atromitos 29 points

9. Xanthi 29 points

Tie-breaker Criteria: 1) Points; 2) Head-to-head points; 3) Head-to-head goal difference; 4) Goals scored; 5) Goals against; 6) Play-offs (neutral ground).

AGONAsport lists out all the scenarios for the last playoff spot heading into the last matchday of the regular season.

Possible Tie-breakers

Asteras Tripolis and OFI on 31 points: This scenario will occur if OFI lose to Lamia and Asteras Tripolis draw Larissa. In this case, the advantage will go to the team with the best overall goal differential. In the regular season, Asteras Tripolis defeated OFI 3-1 and OFI defeated Asteras 2-0. Currently, OFI have a -3 goal differential and Asteras have a -1 goal differential. If Asteras Tripolis draw Larissa, they will remain at -1, and if OFI lose to Lamia, they will fall under -3. Thus, Asteras Tripolis will finish in sixth due to their better overall goal differential.

OFI, Atromitos, Xanthi on 32 points: This scenario will occur if OFI draw Lamia, Atromitos defeat Aris, and Xanthi defeat PAOK. In this case, the advantage will go to the team with the most points in head-to-head matches between these three teams. OFI would prevail with seven points (two wins, one draw, one loss). Atromitos have six points (two wins, two losses) and Xanthi have four points (one win, one draw, two losses).

Atromitos and Xanthi on 32 points: This scenario will occur if Atromitos defeat Aris and Xanthi defeat PAOK. In this case, the advantage will go to the team with the best overall goal differential. In the regular season, Atromitos defeated Xanthi 1-0 and Xanthi defeated Atromitos 1-0. Currently, Atromitos have a -6 goal differential and Xanthi have a -11 goal differential. Thus, Atromitos will finish in sixth due to their better goal differential unless Xanthi defeat PAOK by more than six goals, something very unlikely to happen.

Xanthi and OFI on 32 points: This scenario will occur if OFI draw Lamia and Xanthi defeat PAOK. In this case, OFI would advance due to a better head-to-head record. OFI defeated Xanthi 2-0 in Crete and drew Xanthi 2-2 on the road.

Atromitos and OFI on 32 points: This scenario will occur if OFI draw Lamia and Atromitos defeat Aris. In this case, the advantage will go to the team with the best overall goal differential. In the regular season, Atromitos defeated OFI 2-1 and OFI defeated Atromitos 1-0. Currently, Atromitos have a -6 goal differential and OFI have a -3 goal differential. Thus, OFI will finish in sixth due to their better goal differential unless Atromitos defeat Aris in Thessaloniki by more than four goals, something very unlikely to happen. The next tie-breaker, if goal differential is tied, will be most goals scored over.

OFI

OFI host Lamia on the final matchday. OFI can secure a playoff spot by:

  1. Win over Lamia

  2. Draw against Lamia AND Asteras loss or draw against Larissa. A draw will also suffice even if Atromitos and/or Xanthi win as OFI are expected to prevail in any possible tie-breakers with Atromitos or Xanthi (see above).

  3. Loss to Lamia AND Asteras loss to Larissa, AND Atromitos loss or draw to Aris, AND Xanthi loss or draw to PAOK

Asteras Tripolis

Asteras Tripolis travel to face Larissa on the final matchday. Asteras Tripolis can secure a playoff spot by:

  1. Win over Larissa AND OFI draw or loss to Lamia

  2. Draw against Larissa and an OFI loss to Lamia

  3. Loss to Larissa will eliminate Asteras Tripolis

Atromitos

Atromitos travel to face Aris on the final matchday. Atromitos can secure a playoff spot by:

  1. Win over Aris, AND an OFI loss to Lamia, AND Asteras draw or loss to Larissa

  2. Any other result will eliminate Atromitos

Xanthi

Xanthi host PAOK on the final matchday. Xanthi can secure a playoff spot by:

  1. Win over PAOK, AND an OFI loss to Lamia, AND Asteras draw or loss to Larissa, and Atromitos draw or loss to Aris

  2. Any other result will eliminate Xanthi
