Giannis takes home third-straight Player of the Month award
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the third-straight month.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s outstanding season has the Milwaukee Bucks on pace for a 70-win season while on a personal level the Greek Freak continues to receive the league’s top honours after being named the Kia NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the third month running.
Antetokounmpo posted averages of 29.2 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists while averaging just 30 minutes of game time to lead the Bucks to an 11-2 run in the month of January.
It’s the seventh time in the last eight occasions the award has been handed out that Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month. In fact, January of 2019 remains the only time since the 2017/2018 season that Antetokounmpo hasn’t received the award.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took home Player of the Month honours for the Western Conference.
