PAS Giannina netted three goals in the span of six minutes late on in the second half to defeat Apollon Pontou 3-0 at the Zosimades Stadium. The hosts were troubled by a stubborn Apollon Pontou side, but the balance shifted in the 71st minute when Apollon went down to 10-men after Portoulidis was sent off for a second yellow card offense.

The Epirotes quickly made their advantage count as Pamlidis headed home six minutes later to give PAS Giannina the lead. Just two minutes after, Krizman’s well-hit effort from outside the penalty area found the back of the net to secure victory for the hosts. The attacking crescendo was capped off in the 84th minute with Leo scoring the hosts’ third goal of the match.

The 3-0 victory sees PAS Giannina sit in second place in the league with 11 points, two points behind leaders Apollon Smyrnis, while Apollon Pontou are dead last with -6 points, due to financial penalties imposed at the start of the season.
