Olympiacos require a win to maintain hopes of qualifying for the Last 16 of the Champions League. With only one point on the board after four games, matters aren’t looking too positive for Olympiacos in Group B, but a victory at second-placed Tottenham Hotspur will give the Erythrolefki a realistic chance of making the knockout stages.

Pedro Martins demands a reaction from his team following the disappointing Super League draw against Panionios at the weekend:

Preparations for the matches against Tottenham and PAOK: “Yes, it’s true that we have had little time to prepare, but the same can be said for Tottenham. We understand the attitude which Jose Mourinho brings to their team. Considering the circumstances, we have prepared for this match in the best possible manner. PAOK? This will not affect the game on Tuesday. We expect a reaction tomorrow after a negative result at the weekend. Olympiacos players know how to react, and we are playing against a very strong opponent.”

Expectations for the game in London: “The next game always represents a perfect chance to react. We are happy for this opportunity. We’ve worked very hard, and I firmly believe in our potential. Negative results affect our psychology. However, we have solid, strong foundations. We are capable of reacting.”

The problems with the away form: “I have spoken about our two different faces in the Super League. In the Champions League, despite our results, you have seen what we are capable of. Jose Mourinho? With all due respect, nothing scares us. This is Olympiacos against Tottenham. We are here to battle and perform at our best.”

Olympiacos midfielder Mohamed Camara also shared his expectations:

Feeling inside the team after the draw against Panionios: “We have left that negative result against Panionios in the past. We approach this game in a positive way. We’re here to earn points.”

Change of coach for Tottenham: “We aren’t thinking about the coaching change for Tottenham. We’re only focused on our own team.”

How Olympiacos can win: “The coach will explain that better than me. We’ve arrived here with a psychology of playing hard and performing well. We need to play with a winning mentality.”
