Mitroglou registers second of French season in Marseille win
Greek striker Konstantinos Mitroglou scored his second of the 2018/2019 Ligue 1 campaign for Marseille, helping the club thrash Guingamp 4:0 at home.

During the international break, 30-year old Mitroglou didn’t have the best luck for Greece as he failed to score in two UEFA Nations League matches against Estonia and Hungary, but the striker hit the jackpot for Marseille in Sunday’s Ligue 1 fixture. With Marseille already leading 3:0, playmaker Dimitri Payet found the lurking Mitroglou inside the penalty area, who rifled a low attempt past beaten Guingamp goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson. Mitroglou remained on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes as Marseille eased to a convincing 4:0 triumph at the Stade Velodrome.
In four Ligue 1 appearances this season, Mitroglou boasts two goals, while Marseille occupy second place and trail leaders Paris Saint Germain by five points.
