Domestically, Olympiacos were in first place in the A1 Women’s Volleyball League with 57 points, while AO Thiras Santorini were second with 49 points, and Panathinaikos third with 42 points. As it was extremely unlikely that Olympiacos would lose their lead with just three match days remaining, the Erythrolefkes were awarded their eighth straight (and eighth overall) league title. Olympiacos were undefeated, and their remaining opponents for this season did not include either of the other teams in the top three of the standings. Ilioupoli have been relegated, as it had already been mathematically impossible for them to avoid relegation. No other team will be relegated this season, as 11th-placed Ilysiakos were potentially just one victory away from avoiding the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Olympiacos will not be able to continue their run in the Women’s CEV Challenge Cup. After defeating Hungary’s Swietelsky Bekescsaba in the quarterfinals, the Erythrolefkes were set to face France’s Beziers VB in the semifinals, which were set to begin on March 18. However, the remainder of the competition has been called off and will not be completed at a later date. This had been Olympiacos’ third time into the semifinals of this competition over the last four years, having finished runners-up in 2016-17 and champions in 2017-18.
