VOLLEY LEAGUE: With the 2019-20 A1 Men’s Volley League regular season halfway complete, Olympiacos are on course to win their third consecutive league title, while Panathinaikos and PAOK are close behind.
VOLLEYBALL: Olympiacos came from 2-1 set down to defeat Foinikas Syros 2:3 in game four of the semifinal series and marched on to the finals for a third consecutive season.
VOLLEYBALL: PAOK cruised past Kifisia 3:0 set in Tuesday’s game three to sweep the best of five series and book their ticket to the Volley League Playoff Finals for a fifth consecutive season.
GREEK A1 VOLLEY LEAGUE: Ethnikos Alexandroupolis swept Komotini in the Volley League relegation playout and remained in the first division while Komotini were relegated to the Greek second division.
OLYMPIACOS: The most successful Greek sports club of 2018 was by far Olympiacos, as the Erythrolefki won a total of 15 trophies in various team sports.
