Printezis passes 3,000 EuroLeague points
Olympiacos star Giorgos Printezis became the third player in EuroLeague history to score 3,000 points in the competition.

It was particularly fitting that it was achieved at the Peace and Friendship Stadium during an important Olympiacos victory. Printezis, who came into Friday’s game against Zalgiris Kaunas with 2,998 EuroLeague points to his name, scored his first points in the sixth minute of play to reach 3,000.
The experienced 34-year-old forward went on to score 10 points in Olympiacos’ crucial 83-74 victory against Zalgiris in Piraeus, meaning he now boasts a grand total of 3,008 EuroLeague points in his history. Only Olympiacos teammate Vassilis Spanoulis (4,070) and Juan Carlos Navarro (4,152) have more.

Printezis won two consecutive EuroLeague titles with Olympiacos in 2012 and 2013.
