Having recently signed Bobby Brown and received financial assistance, PAOK competed with a new-found degree of confidence against Aris in the Thessaloniki Derby, producing a great attacking performance to claim a 101-84 victory at home.
Adam Smith (26 points) and Shanon Shorter (23 points) were on top form for PAOK, while Bobby Brown registered 11 points.
Vladimir Dragicevic gained 19 points for Aris.
On matchday 15, PAOK will face Larisa on the road, while bottom club Aris compete against Iraklis.
THE MATCH
Having been languishing in joint last place of the Basket League with Aris, the Dikefalos tou Vorra made a fast start inside the sold-out PAOK Sports Arena, winning the first quarter 32-24.
PAOK then clinched the second 25-23 to enhance their advantage.
With the momentum on their side, rampant PAOK didn’t show any mercy to Aris, taking both of the concluding two frames to ease to an emphatic derby triumph.
