GREEK A1 BASKET LEAGUE: Positive developments have emerged in recent days for the “Athens Alive OAKA” project backed by Panathinaikos Basketball chief Dimitris Giannakopoulos. His plans were first made public last year, when he spoke with Government members about building a multi-purpose facility at the current site of Athens’ Olympic Stadium. This formed the basis of his plan to acquire Panathinaikos FC from the beleaguered Giannis Alafouzos.
