ETHNIKI (FOOTBALL): The Greek national team suffered a fresh embarrassment in the disastrous draw to Liechtenstein at the OAKA Stadium on Tuesday, marking an end to any hopes of qualifying for next summer’s European championships. It brought back bad memories for players and fans alike, as the ‘heavy climate’ associated with the team since its demise in 2014 continues on.
