World Cup 2022 European Qualifiers: Who has qualified for Qatar?
The road to Qatar 2022 is on for nations across different continents, but for European nations, things are heating up. Who has qualified and who is in contention to compete in next year's World Cup finals?
As the tables begin to take shape, we go through each of the ten groups.
The group winners will be automatically qualified for Qatar 2022, and we will keep you updated when countries secure their tickets for the showpiece next year.

Qualified teams
Germany and Denmark were the first nations to book their tickets, joining hosts Qatar for the finals next year.
Groups
Group A
Serbia's victory over Azerbaijan keeps them a point ahead of Portugal, despite having played one more game.
One of those two teams will win the group, like Luxembourg and the Republic of Ireland are now 10 and 11 points behind Portugal, respectively.
Group B
With a 2-0 win over Greece, Sweden moved two points clear of Spain at the top of Group B.
Greece is still in contention for a second-place finish, behind Spain by four points with two games remaining.
With four points apiece, Kosovo and Georgia are out of contention in fourth and fifth place.
Group C
With a 4-0 win over Lithuania, Switzerland drew level on points with Italy but remained in the second position due to the Azzurri's better goal difference.
Northern Ireland's chances of making the playoffs were dashed after a 2-1 defeat to Bulgaria, who are also out of the running.
Group D
Following Ukraine's 1-1 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina, France now leads the group by three points with a game in hand, leaving them in a position to win the group.
Ukraine is followed by Finland and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the rankings, with the three nations separated by only two points and all still in contention for a top-two finish.
Group E
Belgium leads the group, but they are still in danger of missing out on qualifying since Wales is five points behind them with two games remaining.
The second-placed Czech Republic is ahead of Wales on goal difference, but they can't catch Belgium since they've played one more game.
Group F
With a 1-0 win over Austria, Denmark became the second European nation to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, maintaining their perfect record in Group F.
Scotland is in a good position to finish second in the group after victories against Israel and the Faroe Islands.
Group G
After defeating Gibraltar last time out, the Netherlands are closing in on automatic qualifying, but they are still just two points clear of Norway with two games remaining.
Burak Yilmaz struck from the penalty spot late into injury time to give Turkey a 2-1 win against Latvia last time out, reviving their chances of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
Group H
Croatia's chances of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup were dashed after a 2-2 home draw with Slovakia in their Group H match on Monday, leaving them two points behind Russia in a two-team race for first place.
The Russians overcame Slovenia 2-1 away to overtake Croatia, who fought back from two goals down against the Slovakians and had a late goal ruled off due to a VAR review.
Group I
Following their 1-1 draw with Hungary on Tuesday, England needs four points from their next two games, at home to Albania and away to San Marino, to guarantee top position.
After beating Albania 1-0 to move into second place, Poland is in a strong position to qualify for the play-offs.
Group J
By smashing North Macedonia 4-0 away on Monday, Germany became the first European team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. Germany finished first in Group J with two games to spare.
Skopje and Armenia are battling it out for the second place, with Romania still in the mix.
